Civilians Of St. Elmo

ATTEMPTING A FEAT AND FIGHT OF MY WILL AND LIMITATIONS. I SIMPLY REFUSE TO EVER SAY DIE. YOU MIGHT THINK IT TRIVIAL, BUT, “GOONIES, NEVER SAY “DIE” NOR DEFEAT.

I KNOW WHAT I AM SUPPOSE B. THIS ENDEAVOR OF JUST OPENING TO SAY, WELL, WE CANNOT WIN THEM ALL.. AND IF A DOES NOT WORK TRY OF OPENING AN ONLINE STORE HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR THE PAST YEAR AND I JUST ABOUT HAVE ALL THE PIECES IN PLACE TO DO SO.

I CANNOT HELP BUT WONDER, AM I DOING THIS TO HOLD ON TO MY FATHER WHOM I LOST OVER 20 YEARS AGO? WE OWNED A SMALL CHAIN OF STORES AND IT WAS THE HUB OF OUR FAMILY AND OUR EMPLOYEES WERE EXTENDED FAMILY AS WERE A LOT OF OUR SALESMEN AND CUSTOMERS.

I WAS 16 WHEN IT HAPPENED. ON MY FIRST REAL DATE WITH MY 1ST SERIOUS BOYFRIEND IN HS. I WANTED TO GO FISHING WITH MY DA INSTEAD OF GOING ON MY DATE BECAUSE MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAD A FIGHT PER USUAL- HE WAS KINDA MEAN, BUT WE WERE YOUNG AND I WAS 16. HE WAS LIKE THE HOT GUY WITH A BAD ATTITUDE , ALL THE GIRLS WANTED AND HE CHOSE ME. THERE I WAS THE “LUCKIEST GIRL” MISERABLE JUST WANTING TO BE CLOSE TO MY DAD.

I WENT AHEAD A WENT BECAUSE MY FATHER SAID “NO”, THAT WAS A FIRST. I SHOULD’VE KNOWN…
